Breed: Pygmy Goat

Tommy, the leader of the goat herd, very sadly passed away in March after he suffered a blockage in his intestines.  He was treated at the vets and underwent an operation to remove the blockage, but after a week of intensive care and initially making good progress, he unfortunately took a turn for the worst and we had to say goodbye.

​

Tommy came to the wood in June 2022 along with three other goats, Shelby, Alfie and Billy.  He soon settled in and took charge of the goat herd, including our resident goats Pete and Nancy.  He was a confident and friendly boy, with an inquisitive nature and will be sorely missed.
