 Rehoming Service

George and Pepe

Although we would love to take in more pigs at our sanctuary, we are sadly full. However, we often take in a small number of pigs on a temporary/foster basis in order to find them new homes.  We currently have two small pigs George and Pepe who have been in our care since November 2025 after their previous owner could no longer look after them.  They are both very friendly and are a bonded pair, so we would be looking to rehome them together.  If you think you could offer these boys the forever home they deserve, please get in touch with us by email at pigsinthewood@yahoo.com

Please note, rehoming will be subject to homecheck and the necessary CPH number.

We get asked on a weekly basis to help pigs in need, as there are so many awaiting rescue.  Our sanctuary and rehoming capacity is full, but we also work closely with Every Pig Rescue Service who run a volunteer-led national Rehoming Service.  We advertise their pigs in need on our social media pages, and through a network of contacts across the country.  Every Pig Rescue Service discuss all aspects of rehoming to make sure the right decision is made for the welfare of the pigs and we will help them as much as we can, for example we help to transport pigs to their new homes or even provide emergency foster when possible.
