Thelma

Date of Birth:  April 2017 - 2nd January 2026

Breed:  Kune Kune and Oxford sandy and black boar

Thelma came to the wood with her sister Louise and their mum Angel.  They came from a leisure farm in Wales.  Angel was advertised for breeding and her piglets for fattening.  There were nine piglets altogether, but we were only able to save two.

Thelma is a confident pig, like her sister.  They are very similar in appearance, but Thelma has a shorter snout and more black spots on her back.  They are a devoted family and the three of them are usually together.

Sadly, Thelma recently developed a suspected tumour, as well as arthritis.  She was given the very best care by our team and our vets, but sadly her condition deteriorated and we had to make the difficult decision to let her join her sister Louise and Mum Angel at the rainbow bridge.  She left this world peacefully after enjoying lots of treats and cuddles.

We will all miss you Thelma, especially your special friend Tilly who stepped in after you lost your sister Louise.  RIP beautiful girl xx
