Harry came to Pigs in the Wood after we were notified that he needed a new home in July 2018. Having being saved from slaughter twice, he had been through a lot in his then short 3 months of life. Harry was the runt of the litter where he was born and because of this he was going to be discarded as waste. Luckily he was taken in by someone who contacted us to give him a home in the wood.

Harry is a very lively pig who loves attention and being in the spotlight. He soon got the nickname of 'Harry Trotter' when we saw what a good actor he is! Harry is also very greedy and is often seen jumping up on to the table where food is being prepared and served.

Soon after Harry arrived at Pigs in the Wood, another young pig named Summer joined him. It took them a few days to get used to each other but they soon bonded and were inseparable until they grew up. Sadly Summer died in 2020.
