Our beloved Day-Z passed away quite unexpectedly after a short illness.  She had lived here in the wood since August 2016, after her previous family could no longer care for her.  She was a long-term companion to George, who misses her dearly, and very popular with our volunteers.  She was quite a shy and reserved girl, but certainly ruled the roost with George.
